Search Engine Marketing Ideas (SEM for Google Adwords, Yahoo Sponsored Search, and Microsoft Adcenter)

General ideas of Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

Goal- to build an auto-pilot salesman for the company

Ad Structure (general ideas)

Relevant title, benefits on second line, what can I do for you on third.

Use exact match and negative key words to weed out unwanted visitors

Split test your ads continually. If your CTR increases from 1% to 1.5%, thats a 50% increase!

Best positions for ads- away from very top, and away from very bottom- just right for the eye!

Organize like keywords in the same ad only- you want relevant ads to show up only for relevant keywords!

Strategy-----

· Start with a killer copy. Good and bad copywriting make a world of difference to your potential visitors. Always ask the question, "what can you do for me?"

· Best keywords are often not the most expensive ones. Why compete with everybody else with generic keywords? Create a niche market for yourself. The most searched for search phrases on google are from 2- 5 words. Start thinking of combinations!

· Know your visitor value, bid the price where most profitable.

·G Get the customers that big boys cant or don’t want. Take for example you are in the insurance industry, bid on keywords like wheelchairs and rollators, create a landing page for each and link them to your site!

Copywriting Basics---

Move people by their senses- evoke taste, sound, wordplay that catch the eye

Get your URL noticed- capitalize some URL letters

Use Punctuations wisely

Special claims and offers- be honest

Make your terms of business unequivocal

Take advantage of controversy

Be a help in crisis

Market to people who are looking in other subjects

Sell results, not just procedures

Be contrarian and controversial

Compaign research:

Adjust daily budget

Adjust ad rotation

Time and date research

Bid separate price for content networks

Continually monitor and adjust ads

The perfect campaign:

Start out with more keywords than competitors

Know when your prime hours are for visitors

Know which ads are turning more conversions

Know which keywords are selling the most

Bidding a separate amount for content traffic

Know what page are exit pages and improve those pages

Keyword ranking formula

1. Historical keyword performance on google

2. Keyword to adtext match

3. Other factors

4. CTR (yours)

Edit URLS and CPC for individual keywords

LiveSettlements, an independent life settlements portal providing senior settlement and life insurance news and resources, launches at www.livesettlements.net. Seniors can leverage LiveSettlements.net to obtain an instantaneous life settlement quote and make informed decisions on selling their insurance policies.

Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) March 6, 2008 -- LiveSettlements.net (http://www.livesettlements.net), an independent consumer resource for life insurance policy owners considering selling their insurance policies, officially celebrates its launch. LiveSettlements.net is positioned as a senior settlement portal dedicated to providing accurate, easily accessible and concise information for seniors to make informed decisions about selling their life insurance policies.

LiveSettlements.net (http://www.livesettlements.net) offers policyowners who are considering selling their policy an opportunity to discover the potential benefits and drawbacks of senior settlements. Seniors who have difficulty with high life insurance premiums, mounting Medicare costs, or worsening health conditions can use LiveSettlements.net to explore how much they can sell their life insurance policy for, how to reduce life insurance premiums, and who to trust in selling their life insurance policies.

the best thing to happen to the industry since LISA.
Life settlements, or senior settlements, is one of the fastest growing life insurance segments. Life insurance settlements, where seniors sell their life insurance policies to a secondary market, are increasingly viewed as the best alternative to cash surrendering a life insurance policy or letting it lapse. 20% of all American life insurance policyowners are estimated to be eligible for a life settlement; but only a fraction of seniors are aware of life settlements as an alternative to cash surrendering a policy. Prior to LiveSettlements.net, the primary means of learning life settlements and finding life insurance settlement education was through agents, brokers, and life settlement providers.

Life insurance agents and life settlement agents, brokers, providers, and funders can also leverage the powerful information base at LiveSettlements.net to educate their life insurance clients. Shel Bachrach, President of Entertainment Insurance powerhouse, Bachrach & Associates (http://www.bachrachassociates.com), calls LiveSettlements.net "the best thing to happen to the industry since LISA." LISA, the Life Insurance Settlement Association, is America's most widely recognized trade association that promotes legislation and regulation in the Life Settlements Industry.

LiveSettlements.net contains a free life settlement quote tool that instantly enables seniors to identify the cash value of their policy as well as their eligibility for a senior settlement. LiveSettlements.net also plans to release user forums, life settlement broker and life settlement provider company directories. LiveSettlements.net is also developing a proprietary platform where life insurance policyowners and agents can interact with life settlement agents, brokers, and providers. Currently, LiveSettlements.net can also be accessed at www.livesettlements.net or via RSS feeds.
